Founder of QA Research Steps Down
In the UK, the founder of QA Research, Peter Harrington, is stepping down as Managing Director of the firm he started 17 years ago. On June 1, he hands over the reins of QA to the agency's Business Development Director Richard Bryan, aged 29.
Harrington will continue to spend one day a week at QA Research as part time Chairman, but will spend more time on his other business interests.
Bryan left Leeds Metropolitan University, with first class honours in tourism management, to join QA's tourism research team in 2001. His subsequent meteoric rise has taken in spells as a Senior Executive, Research Manager, Business Development Manager from 2004, and finally Business Development Director earlier this year.
Bryan commented 'I did not expect this for a few years, but now it feels so right in terms of my knowledge of the company, its people, the marketplace and my passion for research.' QA Research is online at www.qaresearch.co.uk
