Online Media Research Launch

In the US, research and consulting firm Bainbridge, Inc. has launched an Online Media Practice Group (OMPG), under the leadership of Joe Marchese and aligned with its existing Strategy Research Group.

OMPG will work with companies looking to better understand how online media affects their bottom line and market positioning, focusing on the evaluation of all forms of digital media, including user-generated video, social networks, IPTV and gaming. It aims to answer questions such as:
  • How does online strategy fit into your overall corporate strategy?
  • How does online media affect your business with respect to competitors, customers, employees, partners and/or suppliers?
  • How developed is your online strategy compared to the competitors in your industry? How is convergence affecting who your competitors are?
'The Internet is a rapidly changing and influential medium that can significantly affect market-leading businesses,' says Marchese. 'In order to navigate this increasingly competitive landscape, companies need to employ real-time market research and analysis to enable successful strategy development. This new group will leverage Bainbridge's primary-source research, iterative analysis methodology and collaborative strategy development to give our clients a notable competitive advantage across operational units including marketing, sales and customer service.'

The new Group is on the web at www.bainbridgeOMPG.com .
