Melbourne Office for Research Now
Online fieldwork and panel specialist Research Now has opened an office in Melbourne, Australia, and appointed Brad Wilson to lead it. The firm already has an office in Sydney, and an Australian research-only panel giving access to over 100,000 household members.
Wilson says Melbourne is 'an extremely active and important hub for the Australian market research industry', adding: 'It makes practical and prudent sense to be able to service this particular market at a local level.' Jason Buchanan, head of the company's Australian operation, adds: 'This expansion of our foot print in Australia demonstrates our commitment to becoming the leading online fieldwork business in Australia.'
Research Now owns the 'Valued Opinions' family of panels in Australia and across Europe, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Republic of Ireland, Austria, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia, and comprising over 800,000 panellists globally. In addition to the two Australian offices, it has a presence in London, New York, Hamburg, Paris and Athens. The company floated on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in August 2005.
