TNS Salutes Conversion Model
TNS has formally recognised the success of its Conversion Model business tool by giving it its own Global Centre of Excellence, with an operational hub in Cape Town. The Model played a part in projects bringing TNS over US$120 million in revenue in 2005.
The Model is supported by a growing network of 'Champions' across the 70 countries in the Group, and has recently been incorporated into the firm's measurement of brand equity. It is now supporting brand tracking systems across the world.
The senior management team controlling the Model within TNS will be chaired by Stuart Campbell-Morris, TNS Head Middle East and Africa, working closely with the Cape Town management team consisting of Lesley van der Walt (MD), Shanee Duveen-Apostolou (head of the Global Conversion Model team) and Adhil Patel (Head of Statistical and Data Services). Butch Rice, one of the co-developers of the tool, remains active in a consulting role - the other, Jan H. Hofmeyr, now works for Synovate as a Global Head of Insights (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5305.htm ).
James Hall, TNS Regional MD for ALM (Asia Pacific-Latin America-Middle East and Africa) comments: 'The growth we have seen as a result of the Conversion Model's capacity to add value to our various practice areas and bring added insight to our clients makes it deserving of being formally recognised as a Global Centre of Excellence. Commitment has become one of the cornerstones of TNS custom business and critically important as a business and market metric for many of our clients who are leaders in their respective industries.'
