Strong Growth in Europe for Maritz as Curtis Joins UK Team
Maritz Research has announced strong growth in Europe, with first quarter 2006 turnover approximately 35% higher than for the same period last year. The company has also appointed Laurence Curtis to its UK board.
According to Stephan Thun, Managing Director Europe of Maritz Research, 'We are delighted with our results in Europe. Our clients appreciate our very business focused approach to market research, seeing that it is providing a measurable effect on their bottom line.'
Curtis, who joins Maritz Research UK's senior management board from 1st August, is returning to a former employer, having been Chief Executive and Joint Managing Director at TRBI when it was bought from Maritz by Synovate in 2004. He worked for Synovate until last month.
His key role will be to continue the expansion and growth of Maritz Research UK, working with companies from the automobile, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, transport, financial services, IT and telecommunication industries.
