Sales Appointment for Arbitron
Arbitron has hired Michael Katz as Senior Sales Coordinator for its Eastern Region, based in the company's New York office and reporting directly to Jim Remeny, Senior Eastern Divisional Manager for Arbitron Radio Station Services.
Katz will be part of the team handling 110 syndicated Arbitron markets in the Eastern United States. Prior to joining Arbitron, he spent nearly a decade at Z100 (WHTZ-FM) in New York City in a variety of research, sales and administrative positions, including responsibility for the hiring and training of new sales assistants and reviving the firm's ad sales internship program.
He holds a dual bachelor's degree in communications and political science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
