Strategist Joins Business Objects
US-based business intelligence software provider Business Objects has appointed Keith Gile as Senior Advisor in its Strategy Office. Gile, previously a principal analyst at Forrester, will report to the firm's Founder, Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer, Bernard Liautaud.
As a Principal Analyst in Forrester's Information Delivery research group, Gile worked on projects involving information management, data management, and business intelligence (BI). Before joining Forrester, he spent more than fifteen years in the BI and data warehousing industries, managing the development of complex decision support systems and technology education products and services.
Liautaud describes Gile as 'one of the most prominent and well known thought leaders in business intelligence'.
