ACNielsen Strengthens Analytic Consulting Business
In a new acquisition move, ACNielsen has today acquired The Modeling Group (TMG), a leading marketing-mix modelling provider to the consumer packaged goods industry. The Modeling Group will become part of ACNielsen's Analytic Consulting global business unit. The financial terms of the deal have not been revealed.
By combining TMG with its existing marketing mix modelling business, ACNielsen Analytic Consulting now becomes the largest global provider of marketing mix modelling services to the consumer packaged goods industry.
The Modeling Group is based in Stamford, Connecticut, USA, with an office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company employs 60 people and has client relationships in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. The group's two principals, Sharon Ameri and Dipita Chakraborty, will take on senior leadership positions within ACNielsen Analytic Consulting and report to Dennis Moore, ACNielsen Analytic Consulting's senior vice president for North America.
