RI Leavers Hit Ground Running
UK agency Incite Marketing Planning has appointed Roger Banks, until recently Global CEO of the Research International Group, as Managing Director. Meanwhile another recent departure from RI, Global Marketing Director Lucy Davison, has today launched her own marketing consultancy.
Former Incite MD and co-founder Sid Simmons becomes Chairman of the company as Banks steps into his shoes. Banks says he was attracted by the firm's strong consultative relationships with its clients and its policy of only employing experienced researchers. 'I am very excited about being able to get back to what I love doing – working strategically with clients to help them with really tough problems. We have big ambitions for the business and are keen to hear from talented individuals who have a desire to work in a very different way with blue chip clients.'
Simmons established Incite in 2000 with Elaine Kent-Smith – the company now employs 15 people in its offices in Covent Garden, London, and expects to turn over £3million in 2006. On the appointment, Simmons comments: 'It has been a long search to find the right person and we are thrilled that Roger has agreed to join us. His appointment signals the next stage in Incite's development, with a strong focus on building business with key clients, both domestically and internationally.'
