New COO for RG+A
In the US, pharmaceutical MR agency Roger Green and Associates (RG+A) has appointed seasoned healthcare researcher Laurie Lockwood Harris, formerly of NFO and Synovate, as Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer.
Harris joins the Pennsylvania-based firm with a market research and social policy research background spanning more than thirty years, including not only a decade in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, but also many years in consumer packaged goods, telecommunications and travel. She previously served as Synovate Healthcare (SHC) Senior VP, Corporate Development, responsible for evaluating strategic alliances and joint ventures.
Harris has spent the majority of her career with NFO, latterly as Senior VP NFO World Group, where she developed the firm's HealthMed division, was instrumental in the development of a joint venture between NFO and IPSOS/ASI, and was responsible for NFO's International Marketing Division. She also served on the NOP World Health Executive Committee.
