Facts International Sold to Chime
Founder Barbara Lee has sold Kent-based Facts International to Chime Communications and private investor, Nick Lamb. Chime's research group already includes social research specialist, Opinion Leader Research, and luxury brand consultancy, Ledbury Research.
Facts International specialises in telephone research but offers a full range of research services. Holding company Chime has interests in public relations, advertising and marketing services as well as MR.
Lamb, who worked at Chime 16 years ago, replaces Lee as Facts' Chairman; Mark Smith, Financial Director of Chime Communications, becomes Non-Executive Director; and Linda Marsh is promoted to Managing Director. Lee, who started the company twenty-three years ago and is a Fellow of the MRS, has retired following last Friday's sale.
