Telecoms Expert Joins IAG
Roger Entner has joined media, advertising, brand and audience information company, IAG Research, as Senior VP of Communications, responsible for the growth of the firm's communications division.
Entner has more than a decade of telecoms experience and is widely quoted in both the national and international media as an authority in the mobile service provider and wireless sectors. He was previously VP Wireless Telecoms for the consultancy Ovum where he analysed industry trends and developments. Prior to this he was Director of Yankee Group's Wireless/Mobile US advisory service, and, before entering the MR industry, he was Strategic Marketing Manager at wireless technology firm LCC International, and Managing Analyst at telecoms consultancy, Markowitz & McNaughton.
Commenting on the appointment, Alan Gould, co-CEO, IAG Research said: 'Roger's breadth of experience in the wireless industry will be key as we build this sector out. As the media landscape continues to morph and content is pushed to mobile devices, Roger's thought leadership will be essential as IAG deploys new measurement systems.'
Entner holds a BA in Business Organisation from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and an MBA in International Business from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
