ROHO Group Strengthens Research Team
Illinois manufacturer The ROHO Group Inc, has named Catalina Velarde Manager of Market Research and Business Analysis, while promoting Dave Parsons to the role of Senior Vice President of Research and Development.
Verlarde will lead market research activities for all business units, and help the planning group to identify, analyse and monitor market trends, threats and opportunities. She will also conduct new product feasibility studies and assist in the development of market launch strategies.
Born in Mexico, she worked previously as Economic Development Specialist with the not-for-profit organisation, the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation. Prior to this, she served as an analyst in the retail industry, making distribution decisions for a product line with an excess of $30 million in annual sales. She holds a BS in International Business from Southwest Missouri State University, and an MBA from Washington University in St Louis.
Parsons joined the firm in 1997 as a Special Project Engineer. He most recently held the position of VP of Research and Development. He holds a Masters of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wales College of Medicine in the UK.
