Healthcare Agency Forms Patient Research Team
Synovate subsidiary Fieldwork International Healthcare has formed a new team to focus on conducting patient studies.
Nicola Lewis has returned from a stint at TNS, to head the new division as Patient Team Manager. She originally joined Fieldwork International as an In-field Project Manager back in 2004, having previously been Deputy Research Manager at Kudos Research.
She is joined by FI Healthcare's in-house patient expert, Sophie Wintrich, who takes on the role of Project Manager in April.
The new team will be extending the firm's patient panel and network of patient associations, and is currently applying new patient recruitment methods.
The news comes hot on the heels of last week's YouGov's launch of two new healthcare research initiatives, NHSOpinions and PatientsOnline (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6539.htm ).
