Travel Research Firm Establishes Advisory Consultancy
Travel, tourism and hospitality research firm, PhoCusWright Inc, has teamed up with five industry specialists to deliver advisory services through a new travel industry consultancy, New York-based Hudson Crossing.
Philip Wolf, President and CEO of PhoCusWright, sees the partnership as a matter of 'scope and scale', saying that the two companies will take on bigger projects and be able to 'dedicate an entire team to advisory work.' He added that most of the new advisory services that PhoCusWright will offer will be done through Hudson Crossing, although the research firm may continue with some smaller advisory projects of its own.
The new firm will leverage PhoCusWright's research and intelligence services to advise start-ups, and existing travel and tourism businesses on how to optimise business performance.
Led by Hudson Crossing Managing Partner, Mike McCormick, the new team also comprises Chairman, Tom Christopoul, and Partners Tom Botts, Andy Hermo, George Roukas, and Ed Silver.
