ABI Hires Former Volvo Researcher
Technology MR specialist ABI Research has named ten-year Volvo veteran Mike Ippoliti as Research Director, Telematics & Automotive.
At Volvo cars North America, Ippoliti was responsible for product planning and for managing the market intelligence team, while also conducting customer trend/design research at the Volvo Monitoring and Concept Centre. Before Volvo, Ippoliti was a consumer trends research and database analytics consultant for a number of high-tech companies.
At ABI, he will be responsible for all automotive research including Automotive Infotainment and Commercial Telematics.

Ippoliti has a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Ergonomics from Tufts University, as well as an MBA in Marketing and Product Development from Carnegie Mellon University.
