Media Veteran Joins Project Apollo Team,USA
Joel Zaremby has joined Arbitron as Senior Account Manager on Project Apollo, the joint venture with Nielsen which is being developed to provide advertisers with a better understanding of the connection between media exposure and purchase behaviour.
Based in Arbitron's New York City office, Zaremby will be responsible for creating, managing and securing sales opportunities for the service (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6397.htm ). He will also be working with customers to help them understand the research technologies involved in the project (the Portable People Meter and the Homescan® scanner).
Zaremby was most recently Senior Vice President Sales at media content tracking firm, Verance where he worked with agencies, advertisers and broadcasters. His career has spanned broadcast TV and radio as well as publishing and previous roles have included: Senior Vice President/ Director Network Negotiations for SFM Media Corporation, Manager, New Business Development Director at The Summit Media Group, Senior Account Executive and Director of Programme Acquisitions at PIC-TV, and Advertising Director of Reader's Digest New Choices Magazine. Zaremby holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
