Ipsos MORI Names New Operations Director
Former Opinion Leader Research Director Sarah Michell has joined Ipsos MORI in a new role as Operations Director, based primarily in the firm's Harrow office.
Reporting to Rowland Lloyd, Managing Director for Operations, Michell's key responsibility will be to enhance the firm's scheduling and project management systems across the company and make the best use of its scheduling and costing tools. In a welcome note circulated to staff, Lloyd referred to recent success in upgrading the firm's scheduling and quoting software, but added, 'Sarah's experience and insight will be valuable in helping us to seize the opportunity to enhance our scheduling and project management offering to the whole organisation.' This will include improvements based on results from the firm's new internal customer satisfaction measurement (CSM), which follows the pattern of its client CSM program.
Michell has nineteen years' MR experience gained in both operational and research roles. Prior to joining Opinion Leader Research a year ago, she was Head of Operations and a member of the Management Executive board at ORC International, responsible for all the operational processes of the service divisions of the company, encompassing the telephone centre, field operations, data services and data processing. She was previously an international researcher, based in Hong Kong and working for clients in both the UK and Far East.
