Pulse Group Opens Stateside
Asia's online fieldwork and outsourcing firm, The Pulse Group, will open its first US office in New York City in July, headed by former Survey Sampling (SSI) researcher John Saez.
Prior to joining SSI in 2003, Saez worked at marketing services agency Moore Wallace, was Project Co-ordinator for Toluna, Project Director at TNS and Market Research Analyst at Ipsos ASI in its Research Analytical Group. Saez graduated with a BA in Psychology from Marist College. A native of Spain, he speaks both Spanish and English fluently.
The firm says that the US office will act as a 'client development hub' to bridge the physical and time differences with its Asian operations. Commenting on the opening of the new office, CEO Bob Chua said: 'The growing demand from our North American clients has been extremely promising, and we believe that it is imperative to have a team on the ground to work directly with them. I'm confident that John and his team will do a tremendous job in growing our business throughout the region.'
Pulse's services include online data collection, data processing, and data analysis and its products include Planet Pulse – an online community of survey respondents spanning 20 countries throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The firm, which recently announced venture capital funding ( www.mrweb.com/drno/news6447.htm ), is on the web at: www.pulse-group.com .
