Ad Agency Hires for New Insight Role
In the US, West Coast ad agency RPA has hired Claire Browne as VP, Director of Media Insights, Research and Accountability, heading a new discipline using media insights to optimize clients' media strategies.
Browne will guide and coordinate the company's analysis of current and emerging media trends, to increase client ROI. She joins from National Cable Communications in Los Angeles where she was Director of Research, introducing the firm's FusionŽ ratings data model to several western agency customers. From 1999-2001 she worked as Director of Client Services at Razorfish, Inc., in Tokyo, helping found its start-up joint venture with Sony-owned ad firm Intervision. Earlier she worked for Razorfish in Los Angeles.
Previous companies include CKS Partners in New York, as an Account Director for online direct response campaigns and later as Director of New Business Development; Sony Worldwide Networks as Director of Research; and Katz Communications division Banner Radio. She holds a bachelor's of arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
