...While SK&A Expands
US healthcare research and database provider SK&A Information Services will be recruiting an additional 50 staff at its call center, based in Irvine, California, to meet an increased client demand for custom research.
The firm currently handles more than 6,000 calls a day to medical practices, hospitals and pharmacies in order to update or validate database information or conduct telephone research among physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Chairman and CEO Stuart Krasney explained: 'One of our goals is to remain flexible to respond to market trends and our customers' needs for high-quality innovative research. We put a lot of emphasis on supporting our highly trained research associates.'
Since its launch in 1982, SK&A researchers have been calling nearly 2 million healthcare providers twice each year from the firm's call centre.
