Kadence Opens in Malaysia and Indonesia
B2b specialist Kadence is boosting its Asia Pacific presence with the launch of new offices in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The firm already has Asian offices in Delhi and Singapore, and locations in London, Boston and Sydney.
Each of the new offices will start with a senior team of five experienced research professionals, and will deliver full service quant and qual. Vivek Thomas will be MD of the Indonesian office, and Ronald Foo Project Director in Malaysia.
The Jakarta office is designated as the firm's Asia-Pacific regional Centre of Excellence for product testing and will provide technical support to Singapore and KL, while the KL office includes a state of the art call centre with browser-based CATI technology. Singapore will remain Kadence's Asian regional head office.
Asia-Pacific MD Piers Lee comments: 'Over recent years the Singapore operation has extended its services to fulfil the regional and global demand for business insight in Asia-Pacific. Through this activity, we identified that a permanent presence in Indonesia and Malaysia would be of considerable value to our customers.
Simon Everard, CEO of the Kadence Group, says Jakarta and KL 'were identified as the most appropriate [Asian] markets to target due to current client activity and future growth potential' and adds: 'The next step in our global expansion strategy is to open a new operation in China, which is scheduled for later this year.'
The company is on the Web at www.kadence.com.
