Synovate Hires Global Finance Head

In London, Synovate has appointed Patrick Glydon as its new Global Chief Financial Officer. He joins the Synovate Executive Committee and will work closely with parent company Aegis to maximize synergies between its market research and media units.

Earlier in the week Aegis announced the appointment of Nigel Roberts as its Director of Corporate Finance (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7166.htm ).

Glydon joins the firm from Colt Telecom where he worked as Deputy Group CFO. Previously he has held senior positions in global finance and change management in the Leisure, Consumer Goods and TMT sectors, and has lived in Los Angeles, Paris, Singapore and Stamford, Connecticut working for Hilton, Le Meridian and Guinness.
