Research Now Finds CFO
As promised to shareholders in July, panels firm Research Now has appointed a CFO, Nathan Runnicles - he will join the Board on 19th November 2007.
Now aged 33, he joins from WPP Group subsidiary Fitch, where he was the Regional Finance Director, EMEA. He led the corporate finance function of Cordiant Communications Group plc from 2001 until its acquisition by WPP in 2003. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1998.
Chairman Geoff Westmore says Runnicles' 'practical experience of working in a finance and corporate development capacity with global agencies in the marketing space, means he is ideally suited to support Research Now's ambition to become the world's leading on-line fieldwork provider to the market research industry.'
The company had indicated in early July (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6995.htm ) that it would shortly be appointing a CFO, following a share price nosedive which was partly the result of a breakdown in cost tracking in its accounting system.
