Senior Promotion for Nielsen Media in China
Nielsen Media Research in China has promoted Rita Chan to the post of Executive Director of Sales & Client Services, more than 25 years after she joined the group.
Previously, Chan was Director of Client Services. In her new role, she will be tasked with driving the company's advertising information, audience and new media measurement services in the region, and she will continue to have responsibility for Nielsen Media Research's Client Service group.
Based in Shanghai, Chan will report to Richard Basil-Jones, MD Nielsen Media Research Asia Pacific. He commented: 'Rita has continued to demonstrate her world class client service - listening to clients needs, building relationships and providing fast and effective follow-up actions - in an unfailing manner over the past years'.
In 2006 Chan was named one of the Top 50 advertising women in China by Advertising Pointer magazine.
