Oxley to Lead BuzzBack Entry into Europe
Web-based US consumer researcher BuzzBack has opened in Europe, appointing Martin Oxley, formerly of Ipsos and TNS, as Managing Director for the region.
US-based BuzzBack Market Research was established in 2000 and has recorded consistently strong annual growth, with patent-pending tools like eCollage helping clients to analyse and understand nonverbal and emotional insights. The company prides itself on its 'more fun, game-like interaction' with respondents using intuitive technology, and eschewing 'time-worn tactics' such as focus groups and telephone surveys.
Oxley brings 20 years' MR experience, working in senior management positions at Publicis' i to i research as well as Ipsos and TNS. At TNS he was responsible for driving the uptake of online research in Europe with the commercial launch of new online techniques and TNS's European online access panels. Previously he ran Ipsos-ASI in the UK. A prize-winning speaker and industry commentator, he has served on committees involved with EFAMRO to set European online MR standards. In his new role he is charged with replicating BuzzBack's successful growth in North America in key European markets. As such, Martin will secure and develop relationships with the European divisions of BuzzBack's current US clients, as well as altogether new prospects.
Oxley says BuzzBack is 'pushing the boundaries of tradition' and 'changing the way business gets at profound, more colourful consumer insight' including 'the more personal and emotional 'why's'' behind consumer behaviour.
