Former Nebu MD Tariq Mirza Joins Intellex
Dutch online reporting specialist Intellex Datamanagement has appointed Tariq Mirza to lead its business development in the UK, as he returns to the industry after a year out.
Mirza left the market research software field in 2006 to head a start-up toy company (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5882.htm ). Prior to this, his-14 year MR background included working as MD of research software firm NEBU UK, and setting up MR software and computer telephony firm Voxco's operation in the UK. He started his career with Quantime, now part of SPSS.
Headquartered in Amersfoort in the Netherlands with an additional office in London, Intellex designs offline and online reporting tools ranging from stand-alone data processing applications and online tabulation and charting, to customised online reporting systems. It also provides data management and data processing support, along with information management consultancy.
Commenting on his decision to join the firm Mirza said: 'At last, a company that plugs the critical communication gap that exists between market research, DP and the client - exactly what the industry has been crying out for, for years.'
Intellex Datamanagement was founded a couple of years ago by IT, research and marketing veterans Diederik Rietberg, Camillus op het Veld and Jeroen Rietberg. It is online at www.intellexdatamanagement.com.
