David Walker Leaves RI for Incite
David Walker has joined fast-growing UK-based agency Incite after a dozen years at Research International, latterly as UK MD.
Walker, one of the early-day pioneers of Internet research in the UK, is the latest in a line of senior figures to leave RI, and one of several joining Incite.
Incite MD Roger Banks comments: 'David is one of the most talented researchers I know. He has the ability to take data and plot a clear path to insight and action, making him ideal for Incite. He is also a really nice guy and we are thrilled that he has chosen to join the team.'
Walker's other roles at RI included Client Service Director, MD of the Marketing Science Centre, Head of New Media and a Director of the technology and communications division.
Incite was founded in 2000 by current directors Sid Simmons and Elaine Kent-Smith and had a turnover of £3.5 million in 2006. Walker is the 6th appointment to the firm this year, the others including Paul Thomas, and Kathryn Collis in July (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7095.htm ) and Majbritt Knudsen and Tracy Friend in August (www.mrweb.com/movers/app79.htm ). Roger Banks joined in November last year (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6130.htm ) and Judith Mallett the following month (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6204.htm ). The firm is online at www.incite.ws.
