Former RI CEO to Lead MR at Reckitt Benckiser

Cleaning product manufacturing giant Reckitt Benckiser has appointed Lorna Walters as Senior VP Global Director Market Research, starting in November.

She was previously CEO of Research International (RI) in the US, based in the Chicago corporate headquarters since 2003 (www.mrweb.com/drno2k/news2678.htm ), but left last month. Prior to this, she was President of NFO Healthcare which included NFO Migliara Kaplan, NFO Jstreet and NFO Syndicated Services. Walters began her career in the UK with AGB and BMRB before moving clientside to Gillette, and then to Gatorade (Quaker Oats). She moved to the States in 1994.

Walters will replace John Dimopoulos who resigned in May to return to Australia and set up his own consultancy firm Dimopoulos & Associates, working with global suppliers and client companies within the MR industry.
