Canadian TV Ad Analysis Software Firm Hires CEO

Montreal-based TV ad measurement tools provider Eloda has appointed François Rainville as President and CEO, in a move which its Board of Directors believes will strengthen the firm's position in the American market.

Shaun DakinRainville comes from an IT background. In 1992 he acquired contact centre software firm PRIMA, and in 2002 he led its merger with Mediasoft under the new name, Elix. As President, he ran the newly formed company until its acquisition by Bell Canada in 2004, then stayed on until earlier this year to orchestrate its expansion into the Ontario and US markets. He holds a BA in Computer Science, and an honorary degree from the Department of Computing and Operational Research of the University of Montreal.

Founders and Board Directors Jean-François Pouliot and Jean Charles Dupuis said of Rainville: 'We're confident that his leadership will help us accelerate our development in the US and reach our upcoming business objectives.'

Rainville previously sat on several boards of directors and advisory committees, including the InterLogiQ Network and the PDG Forum. He has also received many awards, most recently the 'IT Personality of the Month in Quebec', presented by the Fédération de l'informatique.

Using its proprietary AdDNATM technology, Eloda offers a suite of measurement and proof-of-performance applications for television and emerging digital media. As well as its office in Montreal, the company operates from Toronto, New York, Chicago and Parsippany, New Jersey and is online at www.eloda.com.
