Optimisa's KAE Adds Two to Team

In London, kae: marketing intelligence has appointed Kate Maloney and Leonie Mark as Account Directors.

With more than ten years' MR experience, Maloney joins from Harris Interactive, having previously held positions at TNS and Millward Brown. Her experience spans multiple industries including media, FMCG, grocery retailing and automotive.

Mark joins from Bain & Company, where she specialised in the application of marketing research and analytics techniques. Prior to this, she gained several years' experience as a strategic marketing consultant with The Henley Centre.

Said CEO Simon Dannatt: 'KAE continues to go from strength to strength. We have built on our record sales and profits in the first half of the year with a busy third quarter. Bringing Kate and Leonie on board at this time bolsters our consulting and business development capacity, placing us in a strong position for further growth in 2008.'

The company is part of the Optimisa group, which recently purchased marketing services firm EQ in a deal worth £6.4m (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7473.htm ). Dannatt told DRNO that he believes Optimisa is the only AIM-listed marketing services group not to use earn-outs in its acquisition, explaining: 'This provides substantial advantages when considering further acquisitions in the short and medium term, through which we will seek to further expand our capabilities in data analytics, competitive and market intelligence and high-value add market research.'
