B2B Appoints MD and FD
In the UK, B2B International's founder Nick Hague has become Managing Director, and following a year in China launching the firm's office in Beijing, Matt Harrison has returned to the UK and been appointed Finance Director.
 Hague was previously International Research Director managing research projects spanning more than 30 countries. In this role, he oversaw the pharmaceutical division that includes a UK wide team of medical interviewers, and also worked across all industry sectors. He is co-author of the book 'Market Research in Practice'; a market research handbook for the US and European markets.
After graduating from the University of Bath, Harrison joined Research Associates as International Research Executive. He joined B2B as Director focusing on business development and finance.
The firm, which specialises in custom-designed research conducted across a broad range of industries, opened its office in China in January ( www.mrweb.com/drno/news5917.htm ) in response to its client base showing an increasing interest in Asian markets.
The UK head office comprises two offices with 30 full-time and 50 part-time interviewers, while in Beijing there are currently four members of staff. B2B - which last year turned over nearly £2m - plans to open a US office in spring 2008. Website is www.b2binternational.com.
