Greenfield Integrates Internet Survey Business
Greenfield Online has announced the reorganisation of its worldwide survey business, in a move which the firm says will enable it to operate its European, North American and Asian Internet businesses as one global entity, while increasing operational efficiency.
The new operation will be led by Keith Price as EVP Global Internet Survey Solutions. He joined the firm in 1999 when he was responsible for executing the conversion of Greenfield Online to an online data services and sample company, and for the past year, he has been responsible for the North American sales, marketing and operations teams. He previously spent five years with Survey Sampling.
Price will work alongside Richard Thornton and Alberto Abisso, the newly promoted MDs of Ciao Surveys responsible for sales and operations respectively.
Angrisani said of Price's promotion: 'Keith has been a central force in growing our survey business for the last eight years and it is the right time to align the global survey business under his leadership. We can now process clients' work on a 24/7 basis, using the same survey technology platform around the world.'
Price replaces Nicolas Metze, who joined Greenfield Online's European subsidiary Ciao in 2000 and was appointed Ciao MD in July 2006 ( www.mrweb.com/drno/news5761.htm ). In a statement, Angrisani praised Metze's contributions, adding that he will leave the firm at the end of the year, having 'decided to move on to other professional challenges'. The company expects to incur a one-time charge of between approximately $0.5m and $1.0m during Q4 2007 relating to the Metzke transition.
Other recent changes in employee responsibilities include:- Hugh Davis, Executive VP and Co-Founder - global supply
- David St Pierre, Global Chief Technology Officer - global technology in the Internet survey solutions business
- Janice Caston, Assistant VP of Marketing - global marketing
Earlier this month, Greenfield Online reported a 29.9% Q3 net revenue hike to $32.3m, and a 25.4% climb in profits ( www.mrweb.com/drno/news7557.htm ). In 2005, the firm bought Ciao in a $154m deal ( www.mrweb.com/drno/news4062.htm ). Websites are www.Greenfield.com and www.ciao-group.com.
