Study Examines Physicians' Technology Take-up
Pharma specialist Manhattan Research has rolled out the latest version of its 'Taking the Pulse Europe', a syndicated multi-client study and advisory service covering physicians in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
The primary focus of the study is technology adoption and integration in physician practices across Europe, and the objectives are to identify and analyse the behaviour, attitudes and demographics of the physician population as it uses technology and the Internet for professional purposes.
Client E. Timothy Thieme, Head of Global eMarketing at pharmaceutical giant Roche said that the latest study offers a strategic view of the role of technology adoption among physicians in Western Europe. 'This research is key as we formulate our plans to reach our audiences to deliver our messages in an efficient and impactful way,' he added.

- Interest in health email newsletters and chat groups
- Use of electronic medical records (EMR)
- Electronic prescribing
