Rapid Early Growth for Clarabridge
Text analysis software firm Clarabridge has reported revenue growth of 500% and a tripling of its customer base in 2007, its second full year of operation.
'Three trends have converged to drive our growth,' explained CEO Sid Banerjee. 'First, there's an ongoing explosion of content available to companies across and beyond the enterprise. Second, technology in the text analytics space has matured. Third, companies are becoming attracted to the return on investment seen in continually monitoring the total customer experience, and this is producing organic demand for text analytics across industries.'
Banerjee claims that his firm provides a 360 degree view of customer desires, emotions and future behaviours, to 'translate the voice of the customer into a quantifiable, actionable piece of business intelligence.'
The firm says that most new customers use the firm's Content Mining Service, which delivers text analytics capabilities via the Internet on a hosted, subscription basis (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6895.htm ).
Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the company saw staff numbers grow by 50% worldwide in 2007, while the US workforce tripled. Web site: www.clarabridge.com.
