Kantar Wins BT Consumer Tracking Role
UK telecoms giant BT has selected WPP-owned Kantar Group to manage its consumer brand and customer tracking projects.
Following a tender process, the company's brand and tracking research has been consolidated and will now be managed by Kantar firm Millward Brown. In addition, Kantar's Research International will undertake BT's concept screening on an exclusive basis.
'Millward Brown and Research International impressed us with their individual expertise and enthusiasm,' confirmed BT's Marketing Services Director Tim Evans. 'Their appointments represent an opportunity that the Kantar Group has recognised with the creation of a Team BT to synthesise data, learning and insight across assignments.'
Kantar Group CEO Eric Salama says the win is 'a source of pride and a chance to do something special'.
