New US Chief for Research International
Following a recent raft of changes to its senior management team, Research International has now appointed industry veteran Bridget Armstrong as CEO RI-USA and as a member of its Worldwide Board of Directors.
The news follows last week's appointment of Kirk Ward as Global Product Development Leader, Andrew Wish as Worldwide Infrastructure and Operations Director and John McHarry as Chief Information Officer (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7867.htm ). Earlier in the week, UK Chairman Paul Edwards swapped places with UK CEO Julian Bond (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7846.htm ).
Armstrong joins the firm from MarketTools where she worked as SVP of Sales and Client Service. Prior to this, she held senior leadership roles in client services, sales and marketing at TNS and NFO WorldGroup. She is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, and began her market research career in data processing and statistical programming positions before moving into client-servicing roles.
'Bridget will bring a strong team orientation to RI and will focus completely on our clients' business issues,' commented Worldwide CEO Bob Meyers. 'She possesses a great combination of client servicing skills, research understanding, and business acumen.'
RI is an operating company of the Kantar Group - the information, insight and consultancy division of WPP - and is online at www.research-int.com.
