Holden Pearmain Opens Swiss Pharma Office
UK-based Holden Pearmain Research has opened an office in Geneva and appointed pharma research specialist Gavin Jelic-Masterton to lead it.
MD and Co-founder David Holden says the new office will provide company presence in the 'hub' of the European pharmaceutical and biotech industry. 'The new Geneva office will be dedicated to offering world-class research solutions. By teaming Gavin's industry experience with our advanced methods capabilities, we believe we have a winning combination.'
Jelic-Masterton has a 14-year pharma industry background, and joins from biopharmaceutical firm Merck Serono, where he initially worked as Global Business Intelligence Director, and most recently served as Global Marketing Director for the company's Reproductive Health franchise. Prior to this he worked agency-side as Senior Associate Director at Martin Hamblin GfK in London, and NOP Healthcare.
Founded by former TNS Deputy MD Holden and FMCG Researcher David Pearmain in 2002, the firm is online at www.holdenpearmain.com. Two years ago, the company opened its first pharma research office in New York led by pharma MR veteran Steve Fleischmann (www.mrweb.com/drno/news4955.htm ). In 2006 it hired former Millward Brown/IMS Health Researcher Lee Gazey to head Holden Pearmain Healthcare in the UK.
