Cognicient Hires from SPSS
Data fusion specialist Cognicient has expanded with the appointment of Siobhán Treacy as Operations Manager in its London office.
Treacy joins from SPSS where she was involved in product implementation, including carrying out complex installations and customised training for clients worldwide. Her background in the market research industry has spanned a range of sectors including retail, telecoms and financial services.
Commenting on the new appointment, founder Mike Page says: 'We are very pleased that Siobhán is joining us and bringing her sector knowledge and market research skills to our business. 2008 promises to be an exciting year for Cognicient as it grows and develops new offers for clients.'
Cognicient was originally founded in London in 2003 by former SPSS Account Director Page. After putting the operation of the company on hold in 2006 to take up the post of Synovate Director of Operations, he re-launched the firm last October with the opening of an office in New York (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7401.htm ).
