GfK Names New Client Services Chief
In the US, GfK Custom Research North America has promoted Thomas Finkle to the newly created post of Chief Client Services Officer.
Having joined the firm in 2005, he most recently worked as Group MD for GfK Financial Services and GfK Technology, before which, he was President of GfK NOP Research and Consulting (www.mrweb.com/drno/news4291.htm ). Finkle has a 25-year market research background, having previously been MD of TNS' Global IT Practice in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific; and MD of the New York Office of Goldfarb Consultants. He has an MA and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Southern California.
In his new role, Finkle will oversee the company's sector and practice area leaders, as well as implementing decisions on its strategic direction.
