Management Buy-Out at GDCC

The management of Rotterdam-based Global Data Collection Company (GDCC) has established a majority shareholding in the company. The team increased its holding from 33 to 75% with an acquisition from BBI Group, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal makes GDCC one of the largest fully independent CATI fieldwork companies in Europe, with 165 workstations and coverage of the EMA region with more than 25 languages, operating from one central location in the Netherlands. Last year revenue grew 12%.

GDCC describes its aim in simple terms, as the delivery of CATI fieldwork, at the best price-to-quality ratio possible. According to Business Development Director Sanne Krom: 'Being fully independent will enable use to further realize our growth strategy for the future, i.e. close the gaps in our proposition and aim for worldwide coverage with our services. Although CATI work becomes more and more a niche market, we are convinced that there is a bright future for an independent company who can cover (for now) the EMEA region from one central location, especially for difficult b2b projects. Our consistent double digit growth over the last 4 years, as well as extremely high customer sat ratings, show us that we are on the right track.'

GDCC has also recently announced the expansion of its crack b2b interviewing unit The A team, from its original UK market base to cover each of the 5 major EU markets and BeNeLux. The unit, combining the firm's most experienced interviewers with premium support, management, and training, works predominantly on the most difficult B2B projects.

The firm is on the web at www.gdcc.com.
