Japanese Panel for Toluna
Online panel community and survey technology provider Toluna has announced the launch of a Japanese panel community, currently at 25,000 active members and forecast to reach 40,000 by June 2008.
The announcement follows recent panel launches in Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Argentina, and is a direct response to the growing demand for access to reliable and responsive Asian consumers, says CEO Frederic-Charles Petit. 'Our clients are demanding a single source of high quality, reliable and responsive panellists for global studies... It is vital our clients can access extremely engaged panellists regardless of country.'
As with all the firm's panels, the Japanese community will use discussion forums, prize draws and opinion ratings to drive engagement; it will also profile all members across 16 'topics' ranging from automotive and ethical consumerism to media consumption and web use, for specialist panel use.
