In-Stat Adds Wireless Tracker
In the US, high-tech market research firm In-Stat has launched a new service to provide deployment information for mobile wireless technology such as Mobile WiMAX, HSPA, EV-DO and future 4G technologies.
The new '3G/4G Deployment & Subscriber Tracker' quarterly service has been designed to help marketing and sales managers track growth and performance relative to their competitors.
According to Senior Analyst Daryl Schoolar: 'The service will enable business opportunities to be quantified by regions and technology. This is especially important when a business looks to where it should invest its resources regarding wireless broadband.'
Schoolar added that the new service is supported by a team of analysts who have extensive experience in the cellular and WiMAX space, at the device, carrier, and infrastructure levels.
