EnviroMedia Launches Green Strategy Firm
Full-service advertising and PR firm Tuerff-Davis EnviroMedia Inc. has launched a new subsidiary company, Green Canary Sustainability Consulting, to advise businesses on remaining credible, minimizing risk and reaching their goals in the booming green market.
Clients will have access to a pool of environmental consultants. Services include sustainability analysis, goal-setting, market research, stakeholder engagement, government relations, positioning, relationship-building and employee education.
Co-founders Valerie Davis and Kevin Tuerff started EnviroMedia 11 years ago, and are regular media pundits on green issues - they also participated in the U.N. Conference on Climate Change in Bali last December. Of the new launch, Tuerff says: 'After witnessing so many green marketing missteps, we see a real need for companies to retain outside experts to guide them on how they can reach their business goals while rising above the green noise and remaining authentic.'
Davis, speaking at the Wall Street Journal's 'ECO:nomics' conference, elaborates: 'Never before has the business world invested so much in advertising campaigns that showcase a product or company's environmental features. Green Canary will help businesses understand how they can maximize their investments in [environmental marketing] campaigns by providing critical advice on strategy and 'thought leadership' well before any campaign hits the airwaves.'
The new firm is online at www.greencanary.net.
