Ipsos Completes Forward Research Buy
Ipsos has completed its acquisition of agriculture and animal health specialist Forward Research and will add its capabilities to Ipsos Reid's agribusiness, food and animal health division in Canada. The new entity will be known as Ipsos Forward Research.
News of the merger was first announced in mid March.
Richard Homans, President at Forward Research said that by leveraging Ipsos' existing business and global infrastructure, his firm will be able to matching the geographic breadth of the worldwide agribusiness and animal health industries. 'Our existing North American clients will also benefit from broader capabilities and scope developed by Ipsos. This combination will offer greater value to our clients,' he added.
Ipsos Reid has been conducting agriculture and animal health market research since 1985, while Forward Research was founded in 1997 to offer qual and quant techniques to clients in the same market.
