Passenger Gets Funding for International Expansion
US-based customer collaboration software provider Passenger has received $8m in new funding from its existing investor StarVest Partners. The firm says it will use the funds to solidify its position in the market while fuelling international expansion.
Passenger combines community, collaboration and analytics technologies into a single platform, delivered Software-as-a-Service. Its scalable solution claims to inform the entire customer experience at every consumer touch-point (retail, online, product, and packaging), to help clients improve customer experience.
The firm was founded in 2005, and in the past year has doubled the size of its workforce to 55, and seen a tenfold increase in revenue. The latest round of investment brings Passenger's total funding to $20.5m.
'Leading brands who want to tap into the collective intelligence of constituents have come to rely on our intuitive platform to connect with their customers, gather insight and form a deeper relationship,' said Co-Founder and CEO Andrew Leary. 'This funding underpins our high-growth potential in helping brands establish an ongoing dialogue with customers.'
Based in Los Angeles, with offices in Palo Alto and NYC, the company is online at www.thinkpassenger.com .
