Mirror Adds Research Community to Panel
In the UK, newspaper publisher Mirror Group has launched an online research community, Mirror Mouthpiece, on the back of its 5,000-strong reader panel, operating since 2003.
Mouthpiece will make use of blogs, forums, product ratings, webchat and online polls to glean reader feedback on editorial and advertising, adding a qual element to the panel's quant data.
Mirror Group MD Richard Webb commented: 'The launch of Mouthpiece enables us to have a regular dialogue with our readers, putting them at the heart of what we do. Mouthpiece has already been used for advertiser projects and can give immediate insight and feedback on their campaigns.'
The new community, initially open only to Mirror reader panellists but due to be opened to the more general public, is hosted by eDigital Research and managed by Market Evolution.
