European and US GP Omnibus Launched
UK-based healthcare fieldwork agency WorldOne Research has unveiled a European and US GP omnibus. The service taps into the firm's Global Physician Panel which includes more than 320,000 physicians and 60,000 allied healthcare practitioners worldwide.
Each wave of the new GP Omnibus will include 100 GPs in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, as well as 200 GPs in the US. The service is available to full-service market research and healthcare communication companies on a per question basis, and will be run throughout the USA and G5 European countries bi-weekly. Numbers can be adapted according to clients' requirements.
'The GP Omnibus provides a valuable and cost efficient alternative to conducting ad hoc studies', says Director Douglas Fedele. 'It gives clients both the opportunity to test market conditions before launching a larger scale ad hoc project, and to conduct mini-trackers which may help to identify trends where further research is warranted.'
London-based WorldOne offers ad hoc research, continuous research, tracking research and customer satisfaction studies to healthcare and pharmaceutical companies. Panelists come from all medical specialities and currently represent 8% of US GPs and 5% of European GPs.
In July, The MarkeTech Group launched what it believes is the first longitudinal panel of hospital-based imaging directors and managers working in radiology departments around the US, while last October, Fieldwork International Healthcare introduced an online panel in Japan, providing access to more than 150,000 physicians.
