Pulse Opens in Singapore
Panels and research process outsourcing (RPO) firm The Pulse Group has opened a new office in Singapore, its third in the Asia-Pacific region.
 Led by industry veteran Wiryadi Hamidon, the new office will act as a client development hub to service the region's market research buying centres.
Hamidon was previously a Senior Consultant with Singapore-based Business Consulting International, where his primary responsibility involved managing clients in Asia. Prior to this, he was a Senior Consultant with bizSpectrum Consulting, and he held senior research positions with Inovis Consultancy and Consumer Probe Market Research Consultants. Hamidon has a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University of Technology in Australia.
CEO Bob Chua explains: 'Singapore is a key location as a number of large multi-nationals have a presence on the island, making it one of the most important buying centres of research in the region. I have a lot of confidence in the new set-up, and in the leadership that we have chosen to head this office.'
Pulse Group is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has regional offices in New York, London, Sydney and New Delhi.
In June, the firm announced its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the PLUS markets in London.
