Law Research Partnership for UK and Canadian Firms
UK-based Acritas - a market research agency specialising in the legal sector - and Canadian market intelligence provider ShiftCentral have partnered to develop new products for the legal market.
Acritas produces 'Sharp Legal Brands', global research which helps law firms assess their market position against competitors. It also conducts an annual study for law firms in 15 countries across the globe.
The firm's data will be combined with that provided by ShiftCentral's daily law sector monitoring and reporting briefings, as well as its updates on competitive and market issues.
Commenting on the partnership, Lisa Hart, CEO of Acritas, said: 'We are convinced that jointly, we can be the solution of choice for law firms wanting to track their competitive environments and better understand their clients.'
Mario Thériault, CEO of ShiftCentral added that the alliance will allow both firms to expand their presence in the major global legal markets.
London-headquartered Acritas, which also offers research programmes to the professional, financial and public service sectors, has additional offices in Newcastle, UK and New York, US.
ShiftCentral is headquartered in Moncton, Canada and has a second office in New York. The firm also serves clients in the financial services, healthcare and economic development industries.
